Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I set up recurring payments using Mobile Bill Pay? 
A: No, members can only set up one-time payments using the Mobile App. If you would like to make automatic/reoccurring payments, please log in to your MSGCU online banking account and select “Bill Pay.” To view the complete process, visit our Online Bill Pay demo.   

Q: Are there any fees associated with Mobile Bill Pay? 
A: No, it is free.

Q: What devices are compatible with the MSGCU Mobile App? 
A: Bill Pay is available with Apple and Android phones and tablets.

Q: How do you stop or cancel a scheduled bill payment? 
A: You can cancel the scheduled payment via Mobile Bill Pay before 4 p.m. EST. After 4 p.m., you can cancel the scheduled bill payment by signing into online banking and selecting “Bill Pay.” If you want to cancel a payment with an "in process" status, please contact a Member Service Representative at 586.263.8800.

Q: Can I add a payee using the MSGCU mobile and tablet app?
A: Payee(s) are set up using our free Online Banking service. If you don’t have Online Bill Pay set up, you will have to create an account through Online Banking at and select ‘ Bill Pay’ to set up the payee(s).

Q: What functions are available from Mobile Bill Pay?
A: You can schedule a payment, review pending payments, cancel or update pending payments, and also view your transaction history.
