Electronic Marketing Specialist

Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union (MSGCU) has been providing families with trustworthy financial products and dependable services for over 55 years; and we have a strong reputation for putting our members’ needs first. We are a growing organization currently seeking an experienced electronic marketing professional to support the graphic design, website content, and social media efforts of the Marketing Department.

The selected applicant will design and produce various communication and promotional pieces; develop and maintain Credit Union Website and Intranet; and create and maintain online banking promotional and informational materials.  Additional responsibilities include designing and implementing all marketing materials, campaigns, print ads, and other marketing components.

Qualified applicants will possess an Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in graphic design, marketing, or a closely related field;  a minimum of two years of closely related work experience with desktop publishing, Internet publishing software, and graphic design programs, software and tools; and two years of relevant copywriting experience.  Applicants must have thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office software products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), as well as working experience with the following: Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, and InDesign. 

The selected candidate will be required to occasionally travel/drive throughout the Credit Union’s service areas of Southeast Michigan and must possess a valid driver’s license as well as be willing to submit to a comprehensive background, credit and reference screening verification.
