Recognition & Achievements
MSGCU has received a Top Workplaces recognition by the Detroit Free Press since 2013. We’re honored to have earned a Top Workplaces USA national distinction in 2021 - its first inaugural year - and again in 2022. Results are based solely on feedback from team member surveys conducted by Energage, LLC (formerly Workplace Dynamics). Companies are measured on several qualities such as company leadership, career opportunities, workplace flexibility, compensation and benefits.
Always striving to do our best
With the help of our talented team members, members, and surrounding communities, MSGCU was honored to be selected by the Michigan Credit Union League (MCUL) as a recipient of three prestigious awards:
- Desjardins Adult Financial Education Award for providing a variety of workshops for adult members as well as one-to-one services to address financial matters.
- Desjardins Youth Financial Education Award for our participation in a new Personal Finance Challenge competition for local high schools, Financial Reality Fairs, Money Smart Week and youth workshops.
- Louise Herring Award for our support of local first responders through our Giving Back and Scholarship programs.
MSGCU has also received Bauer Financial’s highest rating, five stars, for financial institutions for more than 20 years. We consistently receive high rankings in our independently performed annual member survey. For the past 20 years, we received a 96% satisfaction rating.
