Macomb Township Fire Department
Supported by our Hayes Office
We selected the Macomb Township Fire Department because of the vital role they play in our community. By providing carbon monoxide detectors and educating residents on the dangers of the gas, the Macomb Township Fire Department is working hard to keep our community safe.

In 2016, the office on Hayes Road visited the Macomb Township Fire Department to make a donation to their free smoke detector program. The MTFD offers these life-saving devices free of charge to the community it serves.
“We chose to partner with Macomb Township Fire Department after meeting with Fire Inspector, Sergeant Ken Bartz, and learning more about their free smoke detector program for Macomb Township residents,” said MSGCU branch manager, Erin. “We discovered the demand for carbon monoxide detectors was an opportunity for us to give back and help keep people safe.”
Karolyn, a member service representative at Hayes, agreed. “I am so excited to be part of the Giving Back Program that MSGCU has continued to do. By providing The Macomb Township Fire Department with carbon monoxide detectors, we are living by our philosophy of 'people helping people.'"
