I would like to see the business management students be able to put to use everything they learned about creating a business from start to finish this year, by creating a food truck business. The opportunity to create the food trucks gives the students lifelong skills, and the knowledge of what goes into starting a business. The students learn management skills, enhance their communication skills, and learn how to be flexible in a group setting. The students learn the steps to start a business. They create a business plan to follow, and keep track of their budget. The students not only learn about the legal aspects of a business but the financial side too. The students work together to create a name, menu, and decide how to paint and decorate the truck. This project is cross curricular, and gives the students the chance to work with other classes. The students will set up their trucks during teacher appreciation week.
