Kevin G. | Assistant Branch Manager

My role as Assistant Branch Sales Manager is to make sure all of my team members have the knowledge needed to provide an exceptional member experience. The satisfaction of collaborating with my team on a daily basis and celebrating their successes is what makes my job so rewarding.

A day in my life:

Each day is different and unique from the other. However, the message always remains the same: problem solve, educate, and provide exceptional service for our members. While working with my team members and other branch leadership, we uncover needs for our members, help them achieve their financial goals, and be their Financial Champion not just for today, but for years to come.

Something that surprised me after I started working at MSGCU:

I have worked for a few other financial institutions and when I walked through the door on my first day, I immediately knew that MSGCU was going to be different. The atmosphere of working together as one team is unlike anything that I have ever encountered. I am truly blessed to be working for such an amazing credit union.

How is MSGCU different than other financial institutions/employers you've worked for?

It all starts with our tremendous leaders at MSGCU. With their guidance, support, and respect, we as team members are able to sustain a positive work environment. This translates into providing our members with extraordinary service each and every day.

Where I want to be in 5 years:

I know that I want to be working at MSGCU where I can become a Branch Manager and lead a team of my own. This will take a lot of hard work and dedication, however with support from management and my willingness to learn and grow, I firmly believe that the day will come when I am ready to take the next step.

Interviewing advice/tips:

Be true to yourself and who you are. Answer the questions honestly, stay calm, come prepared, and be ready to be someone’s Financial Champion!
