What is an open interview?

An open interview is an opportunity to learn about a position and meet with a hiring manager without having to go through a formal screening process prior to be chosen for an interview. While the interview will come first, you will be required to complete a formal application and required screening steps prior to an offer being made.

Do I need to register/sign up to attend?

Registration is not required to attend. You may let us know you’re planning to come to help us prepare for the event by clicking the links directly above.

What positions are you hiring for during the open interviews?

We will have hiring managers available to interview for open positions. in our Ann Arbor, Saline, and Canton branches (Branch Service Specialist, Lead Teller, Assistant Branch Manager) as well as our Call Center in Troy. We will also have members of our Talent Acquisition team available to discuss any of our other open positions.

What should I expect at the open interview?

Interviews will be held on a first-come, first-serve basis so you may need to wait for a few minutes until someone is available to talk with you. We know you’re busy and will do our best to make the process as efficient as possible. A representative from our Talent Acquisition team will have a quick conversation with you to determine which position you are interested in and most qualified for. You will then participate in a brief, 30-45 minute behavioral interview with a hiring manager. You will have an opportunity to ask questions about the job and MSGCU. After completing your interview, you will be asked to complete a formal application for employment. Most roles also require you to complete a brief simulation to demonstrate your proficiency in skills required for the role. The simulations typically take about 30 minutes to complete. We will have computers on site so you can complete these steps before you leave.
