Julie Herbst is a motivated goal-getter that wants to help you.

“It’s exciting to help members go after their goals and gratifying to know we are always going to do what’s best for them,” she says.

When it comes to mortgages, she understands the choices can be overwhelming. Julie’s spent the last 13 years finding and creating the right options for many people.

“MSGCU is really unique. The easiest way to describe it is to say we work for members. So, while there are many choices in a mortgage, we’re only going to present options that safeguard a member’s long-term financial success.”

Julie also points to MSGCU’s status as a not-for-profit organization as another reason she can help members reach their goals. “Our rates are better, our fees are lower, and our focus is on members,” she explains.

When Julie isn’t busy helping members reach their goals, she’s busy helping her family, which includes two children, one dog and one bunny rabbit. She is a lifetime Michigan resident and a proud graduate of Oakland University. Julie is also very active in her community and considers it a natural extension of MSGCU’s community service.
