Bill Pay is a convenient tool for members who want to manage their bills more easily, whether they're in Michigan or traveling elsewhere. The service is easy to set up, and you can schedule reminders to be sent to you well before the payment deadline. That way, you can avoid hurting your credit score or incurring late fees by missing due dates. To sign up for MSGCU's secure bill payment service, you will first need to register for Online Banking.
1. How much does it cost to use your bill payment service?
For your personal accounts, MSGCU's Online Bill Pay service is completely free! For business accounts, there is a small monthly fee.
2. What do I need to make electronic payments?
All you need is our free Mobile app or Online Banking service, and an MSGCU checking account.
4. What bills can I pay?
You can make payments to any individual or business that you would send a check to. You can also pay bills right away or schedule a payment to go out on a specific day or at regular intervals.
8. Can I do expedited payments?
Yes. Expedited payments are available for last-minute, same-day, and next-day payments to anyone in the continental United States. This option is part of our program, but it does come with a nominal fee.
1. Can I set up recurring payments using Mobile Bill Pay?
No, members can only set up one-time payments using the Mobile App. If you would like to make automatic/recurring payments, please log in to your MSGCU online banking account and select “Bill Pay.” To view the complete process, visit our Online Bill Pay demo.
4. How do you stop or cancel a scheduled bill payment?
You can cancel the scheduled payment via Mobile Bill Pay before 4 p.m. EST. After 4 p.m., you can cancel the scheduled bill payment by logging into online banking and selecting “Bill Pay.” If you want to cancel a payment with an “in process” status, please contact an MSGCU Representative at 866.674.2848.
