Meet the Team

Branch Manager Dennis D.

Dennis D. - Branch Manager

Dennis has been in the financial services industry for years, joining MSGCU in 2014. He received his Master’s Degree from Walsh College.

“The ability to help a member change, not only their financial outlook but also their future, is amazing. The tools we have, such as the Certified Credit Union Financial Counseling Program, has influenced members in such a positive way—it has changed their lives. Given the capability to truly live 'people helping people' is what brought me to the credit union, and I live those values every day.”

Asst. Branch Manager Shannel G.

Shannel G. - Assistant Branch Manager

Shannel has worked in the banking industry since 2022 and supported several MSCGU branches since joining in 2017. She studied at Dorsey Business School and Macomb Community College. She loves being involved with her church community and uses her skills as a Finance Administrator.

“MSGCU is very family oriented, I am a part of a team the cares about our members, our team members and community. I stand by the MSGCU philosophy of 'People helping People', supporting our members to reach their financial goals.”

Chesterfield Township supports Neway Works

Hall Giving Back

The Hall branch team presented the MSGCU Giving Back donation to Neway Works. The donation will be used to provide academic support, personal development opportunities and life training skills to high school students.

“Neway Works' mission of empowering youth through supportive programs exemplifies the people helping people philosophy,” said Dennis, Chesterfield Township Branch Manager. “They advocate for the mental health and overall wellbeing of youth who are struggling. Nurturing and supporting our youth is vital in creating the leaders of tomorrow and Neway Works focuses on just that.”
