We’re proud to have a new home in our hometown.

Michigan Schools & Government Credit Union began more than 65 years ago right here in Macomb County. And now we've opened our 16th branch at 26 Mile & Romeo Plank. We are pleased to bring all of the financial tools and support you’ve come to expect from MSGCU to another location serving the community in Macomb County. This new branch includes a drive-up ATM with easy access. We look forward to seeing you.

Meet us at the intersection of friendly and financial.

Not for profit. All for members.

At Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union, being not-for-profit allows us to give back to our members through better rates, fewer fees, free financial education, grants and scholarships, and other community support. And it fuels us to work hard every day with members to personalize plans to help them meet their financial goals. This exceptional level of dedication contributes to our 96% member satisfaction score, higher than most banks.

As part of our Giving Back program, this office is partnering with the Ray Township Fire Department to donate funds that will support the life-saving work of our local firefighters.

Membership has its benefits.

Auto Rate Pledge It’s more than just a lower monthly payment, it’s our promise to you. Bring your auto loan from another lender to us, and we’ll give you a 0.25% rate discount, or our lowest rate - whichever is best.*

Up to $101 Annual Savings with MSGCU Regular Checking We know opening a new checking account can seem like a big step, so we’ve made switching to an MSGCU Checking Account hassle-free and worth your while. Our Regular Checking comes with $101 of annual savings because there are no monthly or service fees, plus overdraft protection.**

Member Referral Rewards When you’re talking to your friends and neighbors, tell them how much you enjoy being an MSGCU member, and welcome them into the MSGCU family. For every new member you refer that opens an account, you’ll receive $5 and they’ll receive $5. If they get an auto or RV loan, you’ll receive $25 and they’ll receive $25.† And if they obtain a mortgage, you’ll get $100 and they’ll get $100.

*APR=Annual Percentage Rate. Discount of 0.25% off current rate available on auto loans currently held with another financial institution. Discounted rate cannot be lower than MSGCU cost of funds. All loans subject to approval. APR may be higher, based on term of loan, credit score, collateral, and loan to value. MSGCU as low as rate requires Automatic Loan Payment transfer. Current MSGCU auto loans not eligible. Loan terms up to 84 months, depending on model year. New money only. Rates are subject to change at any time. Same-day approval on most vehicle applications. Contact Member Service Representative for more details.
