People always say that one of the most important things in life is to laugh. To be able to help create laughter in the lives of children made this charity an easy pick.

Police Chief and MSGCU Staff holding $1000 CheckOn June 10, 2017, the MSGCU team at the Madison Heights office assisted the City of Madison Heights Police Department at their annual Bike Rodeo and Open House. This event is offered to Madison Heights residents to help keep children safe while they are biking. “The Madison Heights Police Department cares for our community, particularly our children. They are committed to making sure our children are safe when they ride their bikes. Their actions support others and we are delighted to support them,” says Henry H., Branch Sales Manager.

The police department gave the first 200 children bike helmets, inspected every child’s bike and registered them with the city at no cost. This event is an example of the ‘giving back’ support that Madison Heights First Responders provide to their community, and MSGCU has been delighted to help out.

In addition to the monetary donation that MSGCU made to the Madison Heights Police Department, the Madison Heights branch team volunteered at the Bike Rodeo and helped residents with the bike registration process. Chief Corey K. Haines appreciated all the help and says he is looking forward to deepening the department's relationship with MSGCU.
