Want safe, contactless payment options? You got it.

Have you ever left the house without your wallet but still needed money? Fortunately, it's no problem now since you can pay by phone. You'll need a smartphone and your MSGCU Visa credit or debit card. Simply add the card to your phone's mobile wallet and you have money almost anywhere you go. Plus, it's safe to use: you'll need either your phone's password or your own biometrics (meaning your finger print or face) to use your card at the store. And, it's contactless, so no need to touch the keypad at the store.

Pay by phone: adding cards to a mobile pay app

It's easy to add your MSGCU Visa credit or debit card to your mobile wallet so you can pay with your smartphone.

Open the wallet app
Select "add"
Take a picture of your card
Verify it's really you

Using your card at the store

Nervous to try pay by phone because you're worried you won't know how to use it when you're at the store? It's okay, we'll walk you through it.

Hold your phone close to the reader
Press the "home" button specific to your phone to open the wallet
Authorize with your pin, fingerprint or face

Want to see Apple Wallet, Samsung Pay, or GPay in action while at a store? Choose an option below.

To use your default card:
- If your iPhone has Face ID, double-click the side button. If prompted, authenticate with Face ID or enter your passcode to open Apple Wallet.
- If your iPhone has Touch ID, double-click the Home button.
To use a different card, tap your default card to see your other cards. Tap a new card and authenticate.
Hold the top of your iPhone near the contactless reader until Done and a checkmark appears on the display.

Swipe up from the bottom of your screen, where "Samsung Pay" is displayed
Enter your PIN or use biometrics (finger or iris)
Place the back of the phone against the card reader

An extra note on security

We at MSGCU take security and protecting you from scammers very seriously. You'll notice there's an extra step when enrolling your card to pay by phone. You will call to verify that it's really you when enrolling your card. This additional one-time only step takes less than five minutes, but can help protect you from hours of headache if someone were to fraudulently add your card to their mobile phone.
