Meet Tom
Tom Shepherd wants what’s best for you. He’s been proudly helping families into new homes for over 2 years.
“I love helping members meet their needs with custom mortgage solutions. A new home is usually about a new life stage, it can be both exciting and challenging,” Tom explains. “And, because I’m with MSGCU, I get to be a dedicated consultant working on behalf of the member and building a long-term relationship.”
He is also proud of MSGCU’s great service which he says reflects its mission of caring for and educating its members. To Tom, the full suite of financial resources and education is an important part of how he helps members get their best mortgage. “I love connecting with people, especially first-time homebuyers making sure we keep their best interest first. Helping them reach closing on their new home is always a positive experience.” And his greatest thank you is when he receives a referral from a truly satisfied member.
Tom is a proud graduate of Ferris State University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration. He’s also an active volunteer firefighter in his community and enjoys spending time in his recently purchased forever home.
