Children's Miracle Network
Supported by our Royal Oak Office
The Children's Miracle Network at Beaumont Hospital raises money for a really great cause, using donated funds to provide life-saving equipment, books, and toys to kids with life-threatening illnesses.
Erik N., MSGCU Branch Manager
For the fourth year, the Royal Oak Branch has chosen to support the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN). CMN is a non-profit organization that raises funds for children's hospitals, medical research, and community awareness of children's health issues. Each year, MSGCU team members volunteer at the 96.3 WDVD Cares for Kids Radiothon and present a check for $1,000 to support CMN Hospitals. In 2017, Radiothon sponsors and volunteers helped to raise more than $95,000 for the organization.
"The Children's Miracle Network is an amazing charity that benefits the Royal Oak community in so many different ways," said Amber B., an MSGCU team member. "It feels good to hear inspiring stories and know that MSGCU has helped make a difference."
Norm H., an MSGCU Branch Manager agreed, and mentioned his personal connection to CMN and the work they do locally. "I was fortunate to receive direct benefit from CMN back in 2013 and 2014 when my son was in the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit at the hospital. I saw first-hand how the donations help save lives—from the "Giraffe" incubator unit that monitored temperature and vitals, to the C-Pap airflow machines that helped my son maintain breathing on his own. What they provide is nothing short of amazing."
